Established in 1860, this historic home is located in the heart of Brandywine Valley. With tall trees reaching to the skies, a woodsy atmosphere, charming facilities, and an at-home feel, this venue is the ideal place for the happy couples who wish to have an intimate and tight-knit wedding vibe.
Facilities and Capacity
Faunbrook Bed & Breakfast can accommodate up to 100 wedding guests in their stunning event space that features indoor and/or outdoor options. Their stately mansion features a stone patio, spacious and elegant rooms, and a lovely veranda that leads to the plush gardens with a waterfall. Also, as a bed and breakfast, they have seven lovely rooms to rent, featuring antique armoire and lavish beds.

They offer their Intimate Wedding package for up to 30 guests, their Signatire Wedding package for 31 to 50 Guests, or their Premium package for 51 to 100 Guests. Single-night or Whole Weekend packages are available. Faunbrook B&B was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding! We had an intimate wedding in October for 30 people and I could not have been happier with this venue. For starters, the property is the perfect amount of manicured and overgrown to feel like a real-life fairytale. It makes a stunning backdrop for photos! The wrap-around porch and tented patio provided a ton of overhead coverage – no weather worries here!
The porch and inside spaces are nicely connected with four entrances, so even if guests are indoors, they aren't far away. The second and third levels have guest suites available that make the afterparty transition as easy as can be.
To get a feel for the space, we attended a private tour and an open house (that Faunbrook hosts once a month.) The open house was great because we were able to taste food from different vendors and get a feel for the space when a crowd is gathered.
The only thing we would have done differently was test the mic that we rented from Faunbrook before our wedding day. We weren't too well versed in speaking into a microphone, but it didn't seem to pick up our voices perfectly. I think a little practice could have helped that.
Overall, Faunbrook was a great experience and I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to host an intimate event!
